Fitz Marbella: What a Night There Is Really Like

· Updated:

Fitz is one of the names that comes up every summer when a group starts planning a big night in Marbella. It sits in Río Verde, on the coast road between Puerto Banús and Marbella town, and it works as a late club: doors at midnight, lights up around six. This guide covers what a night there is actually like, the music, the door and what to wear. One thing first, because it matters: summer is Fitz's big season, but in autumn 2026 it keeps opening at weekends, with Halloween nights on Friday 30 and Saturday 31 October.

Where it is and how to get there

The address is Ctra. Nacional 340, km 175, in the Rimesa-Tino shopping centre in Río Verde. On the map it's right next to Puerto Banús and Nueva Andalucía, so if you're staying around the port it's a short taxi ride, and from Marbella centre you just head west along the coast road. The club offers valet parking for customers, which helps if someone in the group is driving, but a taxi is the easier call when you're leaving at six in the morning. If you knew this spot as Dreamers, it's the same site: Dreamers closed and Fitz is what runs there now.

What the night is like

Fitz is a proper late-night club, not a bar that turns the volume up after dinner. The club says it opens at 00:00 and closes around 06:00, and special events can run on their own timings, so check the night you're going to. The first hour is for arriving, finding your people and getting a drink. The room fills as the night goes on and the headline set is usually where the energy peaks. Fixed opening days aren't published, which is normal for a summer venue that builds its calendar around artists rather than a weekly routine.

Summer 2026 was billed as a full line-up season. To give you an idea of the level, FISHER played on 22 July 2026, an 18+ night according to Resident Advisor. That's the kind of booking Fitz builds its July and August around.

Inside Fitz Marbella on a summer night

The music

The club's own newsletter tags list Urban, Electrónica, Rap and Hip Hop, and that mix tells you most of what you need to know. Some nights lean electronic and are built around one big DJ; others are urban and hip hop from start to finish. Because the programme changes from event to event, the best way to know what you're getting is to look at the specific night rather than assume a house sound.

Door, age and ID

  • Minimum age changes by event and is shown when you buy the ticket.
  • Bring valid ID: DNI, passport or driving licence. A photo on your phone won't do.
  • Doors from 00:00, closing around 06:00 on a normal night.
  • Special events can have their own timings, so check the event before heading out.
  • Valet parking is available for customers.

Dress code

Fitz asks for smart-casual to elegant, and the no-go list is clear: no flip-flops, no beachwear, no sleeveless tops and no casual shorts. In August the temptation is to come straight from the beach, and that's exactly what gets turned back at the door. For men, a shirt or a good polo, long trousers and proper shoes is the safe bet. For women, anything you'd wear to a nice dinner works; just leave the flip-flops in the car.

Tables

Fitz has VIP tables with a bottle menu, and the minimum spend depends on the table and the event: the same table costs more on a headline night than on a quieter one. Ranges published by third parties vary a lot, so don't plan around a number you saw online; ask for the figure for your date. For a group of five or more, a table is usually the easiest way to have a base for the night.

Honest take

Fitz is worth it if you want a late, artist-led club night in summer, close to Puerto Banús, with a crowd that dresses up. It's less your thing if you want a bar you can drift into at 23:00 in shorts. Plan the night around the event rather than the venue, and buy before the day, because the big names sell out.

Fitz this autumn, and where else to go

In autumn 2026 Fitz opens on weekend nights, and the dates on sale are in the calendar on its page. On the other nights, or if you're in Marbella later in the winter, TIBU in Puerto Banús is open all year, with an indoor club and a big terrace, and Newscafé on the front line of the port is open seven nights a week.
